- After many years of experience as home weavers, Hubert and Marie-Jeanne
Verbauwhede started their own company Verbatex
1987
- The growing company needed to move to bigger buildings in Desselgem
1997
- The management was trusted to the second generation
- Relocation to new built premises in Heule
2006
- Because of the steady growth of both business units, Carpets and
Fabrics, Verbatex doubled its production capacity: new production
lines for carpets as well as for fabrics are installed in Heule,
moreover, a new external production unit is bought for fabrics
- Those investments allowed Verbatex to realise a turnover of over
13,5 EUR million and to remain a trendsetting manufacturer
